oUR sTORY

​​God had been stirring a passion to care for the fatherless in the hearts of Christians in our county for some time. Out of those stirrings in October 2010, God brought together several local churches to form the Centre County Orphan Care Alliance. We believe in honoring God’s call, great love and great heart for the fatherless in our local community.

Centre County Orphan Care Alliance (CCOCA) is comprised of representatives of CityChurch and other Centre County, Pennsylvania, Christian churches and exists to make believers aware of the plight of the fatherless locally and globally and to motivate every believer to engage in their responsibility to care for the fatherless. In addition, CCOCA works in conjunction with the local government agencies and private organizations who provide services for children and families involved in foster care or adoption.
